Background of the Study
Civic education plays a crucial role in promoting democratic values, encouraging political participation, and fostering informed citizenship. In Dass Local Government Area (LGA), Bauchi State, radio has become an essential tool for promoting civic education among the population. Radio programs dedicated to educating the public about their rights, responsibilities, and the democratic process help enhance political awareness and encourage active participation in governance. This study aims to assess the impact of radio in promoting civic education in Dass LGA, focusing on how radio programs contribute to the development of an informed and engaged citizenry.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
